Gunnels up and running again???

Thanks to the guy that left a comment on one of my previous posts alerting me to this website:

http://members.fortunecity.com/superhosting/

It certainly looks like a Gunnels-related offer. It is using one of the names of a previous Gunnels reseller, and has a lot of the text cut-and-pasted from Gunnels' old sites (including mentioning Steve Gunnels and Claire Gunnels in the FAQ). It has much of the same old sales speil, including the 'last day!' special offer crap.

It says a lot that this is on a free web hosting site, rather than under it's own domain on it's own server!!

Thanks for the warning - and I pass it on to others!

It absolutely sickens me to think that this bastard is going to con yet MORE people. But it certainly DOES smell like a Steve Gunnels operation doesn't it.

How can I contact you? I am yet another victim of this conman's fraud. I hate Steve Gunnels with the fire of a thousand suns and would really LOVE to pay him a personal visit some day.

Sorry, I'm not giving away contact details. But feel free to add your story here in the comments. I will make it a proper entry.

Two years ago, this page was #1 in Google, when searching for Steve Gunnels. Now, it comes only when looking for Steve Gunnels extortion

Actually, I forgot to mention that the site on fortunecity is there at least for two years. I found it when I moved my site away from Gunnels' super.nu hosting.

That super.nu domain is still active, and the page is certainly one of his standard FAQ pages, but the link at the bottom of the page which leads to one of his other usual domains,

http://www.fidpac.com/aup.html

comes up with a page that says that the domain has expired.

Curious.

The Storelynk link is correct. It leads to a link farm site, where link spammers decided to exploit Steve Gunnels' fame. Two years ago, this page was #1 in Google, when searching for Steve Gunnels.
